The Sarek

The Sarek is a continuous line drawing named after Sarek, the great Dane. Sarek was a permanent resident of Misspits Rescue, and his line art portrait was created for a t-shirt fundraiser. I've committed to donating $35 from each portrait in this style to Misspits in Sarek's honor and memory.

This particular style is an excellent fit for people who like minimalist art. There isn't a lot explicitly going on, which leaves space for interpretation. Animals who have some mystery or complication to them are represented well here because there is room for their stories between the lines. Animals who are a continuous presence are represented well here because this is a single line, and it reaches to the past and the future.

This art works well on walls, t-shirts, stickers, mugs . . . darn near anything. And once you have your artwork, you are welcome to use it as you like (as long as you don't profit from it).

I'll need a few reference photographs and help understanding your love's personality to make the portrait that is the best fit. It's also useful to know how you'd like to display the art.
